Academic Awards
Motivation & encouragement are the crucial elements to push one towards further progress. The college management promotes the meritorious students every year by providing them scholarships in the memory of Freedom Fighter S. Lal Singh in which cash awards are given to first, second and third ranked students
The Pharmaceutical leaders like Darbur India Ltd. & Himalaya Drug Co. have also adopted the college for encouraging the meritorious students by providing them the Dabur Ayurmedha Award & Jivaka/Ayurvisharada Awards respectively.
Convocation-09
The institution took opportunity to organise the ‘Convocation-09’ on 28th February, 2009. Dr. S.S. Gill, Vice-Chancellor, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot conferred on 123 degrees to Alumni. Besides this, academic prizes were also given to top ranked students of the university.
Publications
In a bid to promote the ayurvedic concepts, conventions and therapies amongst the general masses, monthly news magazine ‘Prerna’ is being published. The first issue was launched on Doctors Day by IMA president Dr. Zora Singh on 1st July, 08.
Four souvenirs were published on the occasion of respective national seminars in 2005, 2006, 2008 & 2010. List of Research Journals
Research and Development
Doctors and botanists carry out the research work on formulations developed in Desh Bhagat Pharmacy for various diseases as Viral Hepatitis, Metabolic Syndrome, Parkinson’s disease & diabetic mellitus in the hospital.
Clinical trials are also being done in collaboration with Vaidyanath, Guru Nanak Naturopathy and Panchkarma Centre, Patiala.
