A. Kayachikitsa (Medicine)
B. Panchkarma Unit
This is a unique procedure for the treatment of chronic and incurable diseases in Ayurveda. The five fold purification therapies consist of
(i) Emesis
(ii) Purgation
(iii) Decoction Enema
(iv) Oily Enema
(v) Nasal insufflation.
These measures are preceded by oleation therapy (Snehan) and fomentation therapy (Svedan) and are followed by a special dietic regimen.
vi. Physiotherapy Unit
There is an independent section of physiotherapy with all the modern equipments like short wave diathermy, wax-bath therapy, TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve
Stimulator) therapy, electronic cervical and lumber traction, CPM instruments etc. useful in various chronic musculo-skeletal diseases & rehabilitative procedures.
vii. Anti-Obesity Clinic
There is a separate obesity clinic which uses the, combination of modern equipment like sun beam heat therapy, muscle stimulators, fat mobilisers & the Panchkarma procedures for the slimming of the over weight and obese persons. It is a. very useful technique to treat obese persons, with the average body weight loss ranging from 5-8 kg. per individual per month.
C. Shalya Tantra (Surgery)
General surgery includes Kshara Sutra techniques to treat the piles and fistula-in-ano.
i. Kshar Sutra Unit.
This is a unique therapeutic modality, which is old and time tested. This technique is useful for the treatment of piles and fistula-in-ano by medicated thread instead of surgical procedures. The recurrence rate is much less with this technique.
D. Shalakya (Eye & E.N.T.)
This department deals in curing the diseases related to eyes, nose & throat. Specific techniques of Ayurveda are applied to treat the diseases.
E. Stri Roga & Prasuti Tantra (Gynae. & Obstetrics)
In this field, various gynaecological disorders are treated. A separate facility for delivery & other associated cases has been provided in the department with all amenities.
F. Bal Rog (Paediatrics)
Child care needs soften hands for soothing treatment. This department is meant for providing such type of facility and treatment for children.
G. Dental Unit
Complete dentures, partial dentures, fixed crown and bridge work, root canal therapy, fillings and extractions are done by the dental surgeons.
