Traditional Chinese Medicine Seminar
DBAC&H is not only involved in national programmes and schemes but also widened its range at International level by organising the seminar on Traditional Chinese Medicine. In this seminar, a team of experts from Australia visited this institute and explored the prospective measures to peak Ayurveda globally.
IPPNW Meet
A team of 80 delegates of ‘International Physicians for Prevention of Nuclear War’ (IPPNW) from 17 countries like Germany, Australia, Holland, Sweden, Ukraine, Mongolia, Bangladesh and Nepal etc. visited Institution in March, 2008 to interact with the students on global issues like education, health, nutrition and role of doctors in war.
Celebrations of National & International Days
The institution is celebrating all important days related to national importance and medical arena. The days which are being celebrated regularly are Anti Leprosy Day, International Women Day, World TB Day, World Health Day, World No Tobacco Day, Anti Drug Abuse Day, Doctors Day, World Population Day, World Breastfeeding Day, Blood DonationDay, World AIDS Day etc.
Seminars, Skits, Plays, Poster Competitions, Declamation competitions are also being organised to observe the relevancy of these particular days.
Free health check-up camps are also being organised periodically in association with Verka Milk Plant, Patiala and PNB Farmers Training Centre, Sirhind.
